Gregory, Associate Director of Events and Event Services at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla, is a hospitality expert with over 18 years of experience at Hyatt Hotels, specializing in Event Management. With strong ties to the San Diego local event market, he is well-versed in organizing a variety of occasions, including galas, weddings, corporate meetings and military events to name a few. His deep knowledge of the area and commitment to excellence make him a trusted resource for creating memorable experiences tailored to clients' needs.

Shannon received a bachelor's degree in hospitality & Tourism Management from SDSU.  She has been in the hospitality industry for 16+ years, and with Hyatt since 2011.  Shannon specializes in large corporate groups. Email

Vaiva was born and raised in Adelaide, Australia. She has been in the events and hospitality industry for 17+ years. Vaiva joined the Hyatt Regency La Jolla in 2021 and has become an integral part of our Events Team.          Email

Event Planning Manager

Chris has been in the hotel industry for 16+ years, and with Hyatt since 2015. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management from Temple University’s Fox School of Business. Chris brings a wealth of expertise in hotel operations and is one of our Together by Hyatt Specialist. His main area of focus is supporting our large corporate groups.
